Of course Vsnares is my alltime fav, but how insane is Transformer di roboter? What a breath of fresh air! Very Lovebale. The war pigs cover is brilliant as well, except for the fact that all that flanger on the voice sometimes makes me dizzy sometimes. By the time "Criminal 3" hits us, it would be nice to hear some tracks that are less conventional like Transformer di...mixed with some of the vicousness of the Vsnakes track.
This is certainly much better than the first Criminal 12". Yes, it is Venetian snares, using some manky Nerco acapella (hateful man). Without wishing to go all namedroppy, Vsnares gave me this track as an MP3 in mid-2001, and has lain dormant until now. Thankfully Vsnares gave up using instant messaging in order to concentrate on music. The Doormouse track is a good laugh, I heard that on some live set, and the crowd seemed to like it, by all accounts.
The V-Snakes and Transformer Di Roboter tracks are especially great! Is it Venetian Snares? It sounds like DHR meets Dälek on speed! The two Transformer Di Roboter tracks are extremely funny. Just like Ramstein playing songs by The Beach Boys, and 10CC playing Metallica. The Rude Ass Tinker one also sticks out. Well done!
