The sticker on the sleeve says: "030303 is a group of friends that organises mad acid party's. Marguerita Recordings is a label representing uncompromising artists with a collective vision of electro. The true love for acid and electro brought 030303 and Marguerita Recordings together."
The first in a long line of Marguerita releases, that mix tracks from people you know with more obscure or new artists. The opener from Mike Dred isn't much fun at all, he did miles better on his Rephlex albums and here he treads water. The Nederzuur track is interesting, droned out acid lines and house beats which raise the bar for side two.
The Cane track isn't that memorable and is certainly forgettable, which leads me to Blue Morning Drive by Acidwolf. The best thing on here by a country mile, a simple vocodered song with a complex beast of a 303 line behind it, a true masterpiece that lifts the song from good to great.
