Selected were 99 artists - each asked to contribute a 45 second piece with no fade ins/outs. The tracks were then arranged by a seemingly anonymous compiler to achieve some sort of continuity. Each song is abruptly followed by the next, as if the whole album was one long track.

Because each track is so short and ends abruptly, this compilation is hard to listen to as a whole - however its a great way to get a taste for each artist. Those who convincingly display a unique sound so briefly are quite remarkable.
