Reviews & Discussion

Review by Aug 28, 2007 (edited over 2 years ago)
This Compilation is Part 2 of 3 in the label's 50 BPM or less series and this one features tracks slightly louder and less ambient than the last. The opening track, done by a project called WRTH-AI, is an excellent 10-minute slow moving industrial piece. Great loops and smooth layers. Track 4, done by Babylon Horuv, is an odd random piece of different noises going on. Crashing drum hits, slowed down vocals and other odd sounds. The next track, done by Cracked Dome, is the shortest piece at 90 seconds and resembles the industrial/ambient phase much like some Biosphere works. Track #7, done by Gryphyns!, is probably the loudest one on here. Great harsh noise for 9minutes along with ambient movements in-between. Novasak delivers a
nice crispy-crunchy track on the compilation as well. The last track, done by Coca-Cola, proves that noise and music can work well together, like the final track on the first Volume. Much like the other compilation in this series there is some great tracks on here and one can't tell that the 50 bpm rule was applied to them, but they all turn out well.
