Reviews & Discussion

Review by Fronhornet Mar 31, 2005 (edited over 4 years ago)
I tried to get this on tape as a kid, but the store had sold out and I never saw it till about 15 years later at a boot sale for 50p. Even then I only have 1 record out of 2 (Sides C+D missing). The consolation is that what I do have contains one of the best 80's Acid tracks there is, Love story by Exstasy. Arranged around a simple deep acid bassline with only the kick drums to support it, its a real eerie acid track. It's shame as I don't know who actually created this, no writer credit was ever given on the sleeve.

The only other stand out track is Maurice Joshua's The other side, a vocal track with a great hook that works so well. Some day I hope to find a complete version of this and find out, just who Exstasy were.

Until then I give it 4/5
