Notes

12" picture disc.
Even though the track titles are the same for both sides, they sound different.

In 2005 you could DL. the audio from the V/Vm web.

From the year 2000 this one is probably one of the most obscure Mainpal Inv. releases ever put out. It holds a bunch of artists, who I believe all are closely connected to Gæoudjiparl and they attempt to bend software and programmable units of various sorts. I don’t know which artist did what on the vinyl but all sounds are ice clear studies in sound and structure, I might be able to hear some of the generated sounds from a Gamers in Exile track released on Worm Interface or maybe I’m wrong? Else, we see computer whiz kids like Per Hoier and Tordis Berstrand sets up standards of how far out your laptop can sound. Personally the stripy look of the record is not my favourite, it kind of makes you ill if you look at the turntable while it’s in action but a picture of this vinyl did appear in a book released by London based company Intro Design called Radical Album Cover Art Sampler 3, so some people must think it’s good looking. I did once read in NME something like “have laptop, will make crazy sound”, and it goes very well with this release. All in all a gem from the wired weird world of computers and the people who operate them.
