This is one of the best ambient compilations of all time. It manages to brooding while still being uplifting. For those who found the first Aurora a little testing at times this is the real deal and almost sounds like a completely different roster. For loves of FAX, Elektrolux and so on this will be a much prized addition to the collection. With Merck finishing as a label it has to be worth grabbing this one quickly. A vast moving cloud approaches, top notch stuff.

A really good collection of ambient songs. While I enjoy everybody's contribution to this CD... I do think that Deru, Ginormous, Shapeshifter and Cepia have the standouts here. Their lush and emotional driven tracks seem to put the other artists in the dust. If you're a fan of soundtrack type ambience then this CD is for you. Dark ambient fans won't find much appeal here.
