This record is worth owning for 'Headcase' alone, which has to be one of the heaviest drum & bass tracks ever made.
I was lucky enough to be at a DJ set by Richard D. James at the Glasgow Barrowlands in April of 2006, and when he dropped this tune I thought that the roof was going to cave in - myself and everyone around me were banging our heads and going mental, just awesome!
Don't sleep on this one - an essential record for any fans of hard and dark drum & bass.

Unlike some hard and heavy drum & bass releases, this EP has not only brutality and heaviness, but it has an underlying brooding, melancholy nature, especially the first record. The second record is more standard heaviness, but still excellent.
