God, I'm not one to gloat, but I have to say - the one thing not mentioned in any of this were the live performances by a sick band called "Meat" - I was a member and I was there. Meat was unfortunately never recorded but should have been. We could have captured a brief moment of time in the cosmos that could have unlocked the mysteries of the Earth and unencrypted the secret of life. We should have put out at least something on vinyl! Those who were privy to witness will never forget what they saw. And being behind the scenes, I'll never forget what I saw and helped to create. I remember meeting Venetian Snares, he was a very straight-up, friendly guy. Oh to be there. And how it ended so quickly. I don't remember Kid606, but I'm sure I talked with him briefly. This site should open an area where parties are discussed and "rated". The WTW parties were among the most memorable ever put on. Nobody who went will ever forget them. Thanks Jeff!

The fourth addict compilation 12" and probably the best snapshot of what was exciting in the midwest hardcore scene at the time. Breakcore was a fresh sound, and on there you've got several different examples of the styles from doormouse, abelcain, bombardier, stuntrock and venetian snares. Personally it recalls memories of the WTW (White Trash Wrestling) parties where they all performed live - hot sun, beer, milwaukee crazies, blazing bonfires, and a barn full of people going nuts to hardcore.
