This is a good find if you're after old school Chicago acid sound. Rare tracks and old acid standards. It should read as "TRAX essential and rare acid", since almost every track was licensed from Trax.
I think this was one of the first CDs that featured these rarer cuts, that before had been released on various U.K. compilations only. Jack Frost tracks especially are essential. The sound quality is also good, these are not lifted from the vinyls, or if some are, they have managed to clean the tracks very well.
