Reviews & Discussion

Rated 5/5

This is by far one of the greatest compilations I have ever had the luck of getting my hands on. The name is a bit misleading but thats fairly obvious when you have a glance at the artists involved. It covers quite a range of styles from the time which should make it a valuable addition to most collections and essential for those who are just getting into these kind of sounds. For me, the System 7, Drum Club and Another Green World tunes are ambience at its best, fantastic pieces of music. Other highlights include a few more adventurous tracks with David Toop and Josh Abrahams and dreamy electronica from Woob and The Unlimited Dream Company. The Black Dog tune rates as just 'normal' on this compilation-an indicator of the high quality throughout.
