This compilation is a collection of music based on homemade instruments and recordings of sounds around the home. The do-it-yourself aesthetic is taken quite literally here as music is made from the sounds of a dryer, a sink, electric instruments made from sticks found in backyards, grandma's oxygen tank, circuit-bent devices and more. Musicians and non-musicians from around the world contributed a dozen carefully-selected tracks.
The booklet includes several surreal illustrations by Amanda Vickers, Brian E Panda, and Jason Shope.
