Reviews & Discussion

Rated 4/5
Review by TeknoTim Dec 09, 2003
This CD is essential to own for those who want a compilation of 80s and early 90s American house music. It has some of the most familiar tracks (or should I say Traxx, as in the house music label?) of the classic house music years, and some songs I never heard but really hook me in. And I didn't have to scrounge around record stores nationwide in search of overpriced, scruffy, rare 12-inch singles to listen to them. Only complaint is the recording quality is B-level; it's fine, considering the master recordings, but it's a little hissy and has low input levels, compared to other CDs of 1990s and beyond.
