This is a really fine compilation in my opinion, and despite being released in 2003 it has tracks from the two years before. There isn't really generic full-on that normally features on YSE releases, instead there are a lot of tracks with an odd oldschool feel.
Check for example "Nauschka" or "Top Trick". They seem to have come out from the past. Or the track by MFG, taken from their 2001 album "The Message". If you want two odd tracks check out “Mission not Possible”, sampling the Mission Impossible theme and "Contact", sampling a classic symphony, but both don't go on the cheese side. They still retain that Goa feel. Yahel's track is also good, thanks God no fluff here. There's a touch of Progressive by Human Blue, a bit of the dark side by Dark Soho and also vocal track by the innovative Element team.
Don't know why, but I find myself really sucked into this.
