It was not the fact that "only" 1000 copies were pressed (not a very stern limitation in my eyes anyway) but the very selective distribution that made this record set so sought after. Only pre-selected record shops offered those sets on two days in summer 2001. Needless to say that most stores ran out of copies on day one already.

This compilation used to be a place for exclusiv tracks, but the D track by Oliver Bondzio can also be found on his album "Straight Outta D-Town" on Cocoon Recordings.

the 1:st cocoon compilation, ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!!! ....I have the two others ( comp. B & C ) ...But compilation A is the one I like best.
The tracks from :Pascal F.E.O.S, Ricardo Villalobos, Chris Liebing & Der dritte raum is timeless....Really intelligent productions, that grows on you, every time you hear them.
But the track from mr.cocoon himself: SVEN VÄTH ,is the track that lifts the musical ecxperience on the compilation to celestial levels,...=0)
The ONLY bad thing about COMP.A is that the only made 1000 copies on the vinyl-box.
I want the vinyl-box (I only have the CD)
ALL the tracks are good, there are NO fillers.
