Dancefloor . Bangkok Impact ends this compilation with a nice melodic electro tune called "Megatrance" which is average compared to their usual output, but among this CD's best songs. Other tunes that are at least decent are Ada's -"Wheeler/Dealer", where she rocks with her brand-new (and already stolen) Roland Electribe MD and Destillat's -"Tourister" with it's fine bass-guitar over accented and straight grooving rhythm programming. Denis Rusniak's - "Do You...?" with that No New York 80's Flair aint bad, too . Role Model's "Wilma Rudolph" on the other hand is plain unlistenable!!!
Most of the tunes here are more fragments of a track, than a complete composition. This is the overall mistake of this Coocoon D Compilation. Too many no-names, newcomers, who deliver Demo material and too much experiments. Never had a CD recently, where i had to skip so many trax.
Even cracks like Roman Flügel, David Carretta, Anthony Rother & Sven Väth and Adam Beyer & Henrik B come with disappointing + noisy trax. Not even Tony Rohr's "Dead Chewy" satisfies my taste , and i liked all of his recent works... An easy attempt to cash in on the good name of Cocoon and that Limited Box Set trick. This makes it even worse.... Maybe the intention was to come with new sounds and fresh artists. But there's something missing = The effort to make this special and perfect, instead of experimenting for the sake of it.
