This is probably the most consistent Cocoon Compilation along with C. I prefer this because of the strong and often melodic Tracks. From the opener Hells outstanding 'Jack My Body' the goodies keep coming. Whignomy Brothers, Sven's Collaboration with Anthony Rother has the Magic the title claims. Dexter's Acid Lullaby is nice for what it is Neo-Acid-Elektro , Hugg & Pepp's Partymakers is better. The highlight for me comes with Pascal EOS "Ausklang" a well rounded affair between the straight Techno of the 90ies and the 2005 minimal precision and understatement.
Özgur Can delivers a Neo Trance hymn that sets big Dancefloor on Fire and was hammered on many Raves around sunrise time... STEN, Eulberg, Holden and Ananda all stand for the new sound of the Cocoon, that is very melodic and sounds more like GOA or NEO Trance then Schranz, If you like this style or not. The quality of these Songs is beyond doubt. An album of Transistion.
I like esp. that you get both on one Compilation : "Real" Techo and minimal Neo Trance...
This is exactly the link betwen the Techno Compis A, B & C and the Neo Trance Compilations F and G. Chances are you'll like either A-C or F & G, but if you are open minded there is enough quality for you to be found on E..
