Notes

Comes in a box with three CD's in regular jewel case and four booklets contaning liner notes in English, German and French. This set is volume one in a series of six volumes reproducing 18 LP albums originally released on Time Records and Mainstream Records. These albums were curated and published by Earle Brown between 1960 and 1973. The individual CD's have been reproduced with original artwork and liner notes. The fourth booklet contain further info on the series, not included with the original releases.

---
Track 2-1 to 2-3 originally released in 1961 by Time Records as S/8001 (stereo) and 58001 (mono) under the title "Zyklus / Refrain / Transición II".
Zyklus (1959) for one percussionist
Refrain (1959) for three performers
Transición II (1958/59) for piano, percussion and two magnetic tapes
---
Track 3-1 to 3-2 originally released in 1970 by Mainstream Records as MS/5002 under the title "Live Electronic Music Improvised".
For this occasion AMM Music was recorded at a concert given for the Crypt Programme in Notting Hill Gate, London, June 12th, 1968. The tape has been edited and interspersed with silence in accordance with a random number programme to give a representative cross-section of a concert lasting two hours.
On the back of the CD case and in the booklet the first track is credited as MEV and the second as AMM. This information is incorrect. The first track is interspersed with silence which, according to the liner notes, would occur in the track by AMM. With reference to other recordings of Spacecraft by MEV, the second track is definately MEV. These changes have been made in the track list and credit list so that the information is correct.
---
Recording locations and dates are not available, except in the case of AMM.
