Subtitled: The Real Old School Revival
'Certain tracks on this album have been mastered from vinyl and therefore may contain the authentic sounds associated with this format.'
Track 1.03 is mistakenly credited as the
12" Version in the booklet.
Track 1.06 - although not credited as such on the inlays, this is an edited version of the "Seven Minutes Of Madness" remix by Coldcut.
Track 2.12 - listed as "The Bottle" on the inlay.
Rapper's Delight was a novelty in 1979, but it sounds so dated I can't believe it! There's only one thing worse than a crap song, and that's a LONG crap song. Nineteen doesn't really belong in the genre, and it's as irritating now as it was then! In fact, anything after '86 has no place on this record, whether it's good or not. However, good far outweighs bad, so if you see this in the shops, buy it.
