Some nice 808/909-techno from New Yorks (back then rather underground) Who-is-Who in quirky electronic listening. Taylor Deuprees "Carbon Sculpture", Savvas Ysatis "Uptime", Schoenemanns "Portable" and Abe Duques "Chocolate Delight" with it's weird ending are - in my opinion - the minimal gems on this album. Don't let the name of the label this release is on ("Radical Ambient") fool you - these are timeless analogue tracks with a distinctive dry warmth that can still rock early morning dancefloors in a decent manner...
