A great compilation of "progressive"(hate that word) and tribal psy-trance from Sweden. The tracks are hard hitting , bass heavy and well produced. Track 1 has a very hypnotic clockwork rhythm with a very heavy bass/kick combo. It's quite slow and minimal. Track 2 has atmospheric sounds, sudden change ups and very low, breathing bass. Track 3 is standard Vibrasphere with reverberated acid lines and scandinavian sounds over a pumping beat. Track 6 has even more of those house-type keys that characterize Ticon and the scando sound in general, very nice track. Track 4 is very energetic...can't really remember it. Tracks 5 & 7 are boring stuff purely for the dancefloor. Kick bass Kick bass...makes my head hurt. Track 8 has weird pads and scrachy sounds, good stuff. Track 9 kicks off immediately with complicated percussion and stays in that vein for the whole track. Favorites: 1,2,6,8,9
