Notes

"The Best Of Goa-Trance & Psychedelic Techno"

Digital mastering at DMS, Marl. Special thanks to Lago "Goa-long" Lamborghini for his friendly support. Compiled & arranged in Santa Cruz (Teneriffa) at Raja Gaja Studios.

Track 1.01 is named "Ionised"
Track 1.04 is credited to Prana since it's taken from Prana's album Geomantik but originally track is by Taiyo.
Track 2.06 is incorrectly listed as "Tribalistic". The same track with the correct title also appears on Goa-Head Vol. 4.
Track 2.07 is named "Deep Space 50" on back cover but correct on inside.
Track 2.09 is named "The Answer".

Curious detail about catalog: although obviously released before Vol. 4 the catalog is one number higher than Vol. 4's.

Reviews & Discussion

Rated 1/5
Review by SkeletonMan Feb 12, 2006 (edited over 3 years ago)
Names can be deceptive. On the cover of this comp it says Matsuri, Phantasm, Pchychic Deli, Krembo, Flying Rhino, Naja, Spirit Zone, TIP, Dragonfly, Koyote, Transient. The names of all the participating labels. Whow, it can hardly look more impressive. What's been treated us, however, must be leftovers from these labels' main dishes!

Opening track is Astral Projection's Ionized (wrongly spelt Ionised as almost everywhere else) and, needlees to say, this holds the vibe. AP themselves pick up the vibe on disc 2 with their Zero and the guys from MFG on disc 2 also are able to create somewhat of a vibe in their To Eternity. Almost everything else is between 2nd and 8th grade filler. Big names don't need to hold anything ... ;o)
