Mecado lost a lawsuit in may 1997 that Arcade and GabberWijffie innitiated against Mecado because the first track 'Op een grote paddestoel' was originally recorded bij GabberWijffie. Also the track 'Tricky Martini' was forbiden in August that year after complaints from Sony, Virgin en EMI, the track was a ripoff from a track by Ricky Martin. Mecado was forced to retreive al the CD's and replaced the inlays of the CD and changed severall names to 'Tricky Bacardi', Sunmilk (Sunclub), Raft Funk (Daft Punk) en R2 (MR). ID & T wasn't amused and one of the leaders complaining about the used names.
