Among the well-known and, well, timeless classics of electronic dance music there are three tracks of special quality:
The track 'Mikado' of Pulse is produced only with the use of 7 or 8 rolling drum patterns that get delayed just a little bit but the small moves make possible a raising monster of more than 10 minutes track-length.
2nd remarkable track 'Mecon' is from Aurin and features a simple 303 line that moves straight forward but then disintegrates to some 30 seconds of a beautiful little melody part only to come back and take the dancer to another ecstatic heights - pure trip!
3rd exceptional and to me one of the best electronic tracks there is: 'Multiplex' of Jiri Ceiver who goes on with some mellow strings and a subsonic bass in the beginning. A tweeky 303 signal evolves from the depth then and starts incredibly fast tom-toms and hi-hats. Sounds fly thru the air and lights flare up somewhere in front of you. You feel hit by the hard beats but it don't hurt - it makes you tremble with pleasure. Time for the strings again! But then Ceiver pulls out the baton finally to drive you to complete madness. Fantastic, outstanding, no label for it. Burn it on gold and send it to outer space with the next Voyager. They will contact us!
