The Juliana's CD series started out with a promising first issue (save for the vapid shouts of the half-witted DJ over the top) with a near best-of line-up of Belgian New Beat. By the fourth installment, however, the music has rapidly degraded to low-level, populist club cheese. It was bad then, and even worse now. Some of the tracks start out with promising tones, but quickly become mutilated by even more inane yelling by the DJ. I keep this CD to remind me just how good *other* music can be...
