A great sampler from the best of the awesome Mastercuts "Bar..." series. Whilst some of the later compilations struggle for continuity, Bar Social (one of the initial releases in the series" is brilliant. This sampler takes a classic from each of the Hip-Hop/Funk/Soul genres, starting with the awesome Grandmaster Flash "Adventures Of...", which manages to combine Queen, Chic and Blondie into a true melting pot. This is followed by Curtis Mayfield's legendary "Pusherman", and finally Funkadelic's pulsating "One Nation Under A Groove". This record gives you a reason to go out, a reason to stay out and the means to do so... Awesome!!
