Considering the tracklisting of this compilation features the usual 1995-96 chart hits, if you want this CD most likely you're keen to hear the mixing. Well, let me warn you - I am not kidding, this is THE worst mixing i have EVER, EVER heard. Seriously. This is as close you can get to bad mixing before reaching 'tracks placed very close together indeed'. I think this compilation should be issued to young DJs as a 'How Not to Mix' CD as pretty much every mix is a disaster. They're all here - crap beatmatching using tracks that are different speeds, tracks out of time and, worst of all, PAINFUL key clashes. Highlights include Alex Party's 'Don't Give Me Your Life' into Gat Decor's 'Passion' (The two songs sound like they're being played together at the same time and just happen to be the same speed) and, my personal favourite, Reel 2 Real's 'I Like To Move It' into Up Yer Ronson's 'Lost In Love' (Truly, utterly, awfully, terribly PAINFUL).

You may wonder why I am keeping such a failure on my shelf. No, it's not because of the provocative cover (presumably used to boost inevitably low sales), but because after a dodgy session at the decks, I like to play this CD loud and laugh heartily at how my mixing is way superior and because I know a deaf person with no fingers could mix better than this. And that's a scientific fact.
