Uber-sweet idea here from Merck. As they were about to go out of business, the Fragments CD-ROM was issued. Complete with music, almost the entire Merck cover catalog, and a few other folders with a bunch of Merck related art!

A great collection of various tracks from the Merck back catalog exists within the folders of the CD, including an extremely deep rooted banging IDMish Techno track from Talve. "There's Always A Girl" works a solid beat with many UFO landing signals flying all over the place, super heady stuff! One complaint on these: They're not all above even 256 kbps, which, if you're a huge geek about only playing uncompressed music (or at least 320), it's kind of a bummer.

Then we come to a folder entitled "proem live". Here's the real jackpot: NINE half hour plus live sets from one of the Merck God's, Proem. After hearing Proem's "liveMD" and seeing him live at the Decibel Festival, I was SOLD on having more live sets from this man. If you're a Proem fan whatsoever - THESE ARE A MUST!

With so much music compiled onto this CD, it is WELL worth the $12 or so you'll pay for this online somewhere!!
