From an inlay card: "The artists featured on this release were given a copy of the vinyl recording 'Mesmer' (Ash 1.8) and asked to compose a piece influenced by the work of Friedrich Mesmer the animal magnetist. The brief was – there is no brief; method and style were left entirely to the discretion of the composer."

1-10: the Ryoji Ikeda track lasts for 5:05. It is followed by 16mins of silence, then a lengthy unlisted reprise of 1-7, Mozart vs. Mesmer.
