Notes

If you were to ask many of the bigger breaks dj's what they currently have in their box it would likely include at least one Boom Box cut. The label can also site dj's as diverse as James Lavelle, Carl Cox, Boy George, Jon Carter, Judge Jules & Annie Nightingale as fans or supporters of the label.
Boom Box prides itself on having always strived to give the newer artists a step up and this has been evident with debut releases from General Midi, Friendly & Stabilizer, all artists who have gone on to achieve major status within the scene.
This 53 min megamix features highlights from the labels past ten years, a trawl through the back catalogue with the sole intention of including only the biggest hits. From classics such as "Bassline" & "Who Da Fuck" by Semi Detached - championed by the likes of Adam Freeland, Carl Cox, Tipper, Tayo & James Lavelle - to cuts such as Stabilizer's infectious "Electrophobic", friendly's bass churning "Greedy", two gargantuan remixes from Christian J & False Prophet aka PMT, Nubreed's sublime "Neptune Beach", Sifter & Adan's thunderous mix of digital breaks foundation's "Way Back" & of course dj Crow's ranting "The Only Thing".
Since 1996, tunes and artists that have helped in shaping today's breaks sound.
We hope that this mix highlights the contribution Boom Box has made to the development of what is now a global super sound - long live the break!
Enjoy! Mole & Aya.
