Reviews & Discussion

Rated 5/5
Review by kepa1 Apr 29, 2007 (edited over 2 years ago)
"Nova fait son cinéma" started as a radio show in the mid 1990's with Nicolas Saada playing his personal collection of sought after discs. It became quite popular over the years attracting listeners from very different musical backgrounds.
It is also a wonderful CD celebrating the 10th anniversary of the show. Apart from the beauty of the music, what strikes most is the ability of the selector to run through all emotional states, melancholy, joy, nervousness, just like in a good movie.
One has to play this CD, relax and enjoy the most talented score makers, known or unknown, venturing in classical (Hermann), jazz (Morricone), electronic (Carpenter), light music (Cosma) and so on...
