Unlike this Discogs page suggests, I don't hear much "tech house" in here... but I do hear dark, mechanical, twisted techno and tech-trance, and it is a must-have compilation for any fan of that style. Oliver's mixing is mostly flawless and the groove goes strong for so long, that you begin to forget what particular track you're listening to, always a mark of a gifted DJ. For me the highlight will always be Thomas Krome's diabolical monster, "Woodpusher Pt.1" which remains my favorite dark techno track to this day. Although both discs can get a tad bit repetitive stylistically after awhile, it's still a great example of a style of techno that influenced me to no end. 5/5!
