Great release from Rephlex here, another trawl through the back catalogue yields great results. From the excellent opener by Yee King through great electro from Bochum Welt and DMX Krew, to the new tracks by Amen Andrews and AFX himself. Incidentally Circuit Bent is a festival for computer chip musicians (Gameboy + so on) and sounds manipulated from electronic toys. Whether AFX ever was a VIP guest there as the mix suggests is something for further study.

On Mangle 11, towards the end of the track, at 4:35 you hear a chopped sample of a female voice seemingly phonetically sounding out something like "aphex". This however is not the case, as the sample is seemingly from The Conet Project, disc one, track 22, "5 Dashes". The track very clearly resembles this particular sample, and a comparison only further supports my suspicion.

A truly authentic and great introduction into the world of IDM from the best artists of the scene and by one of the most exciting record label of the genre. Almost every track on this comp is a winner. Highlights include Goodnight Toby, Smack Em Up, Remember This and Mangle 11.
