This is a forunate for my collection as Zak Frost & Bjorn Torske provide a brilliant smorgasboard of tracks for sampling. If at first you think you've unearthed a case of retro disco , have no fear , the bubblng mood only gets better with the brew.
If the funky organ Bjorn added to Ephemera's Happy, Grateful doesn't win you over then get ready for Kompis's ,aka Basecamp Wolfe, "First Base on the Moon". No one could feel unhappy or ungrateful while this one is blasting. I love the entire CD ! - Karen (DocHawk)
Torske is also a great friend and mentor of Royksopp.

The set is built up by starting of smooth with some great jazzy breakbeat-tracks before the 4x4-beat starts off in Tommi Whites delicious "Reykjavik Rainbow"... The intensity in the set is getting higher and higher before it reaches the climax in Erot's amazing remix of Thomas Krome's "The Real Jazz"...But the mix doesn't stop there, because the mix's real highlight is the last track: Malin - Kinky People (Strangefruit remix)...That is one of the best tracks ever done in my opinion, a whole 12-minute journey in itself...What a finish !!
9/10 for this great cd, which I found for 40 swedish kronor (=6$ or 3£) a couple of months ago...=)
