This is a dreamy, ambient/dubby collection of works by some of the more fresh faces in the dub techno music scene. Imagine Deepchord meets Gas. This CD is not as brooding or dark as Gas, but has a similar flow and minimal beats. You'll find yourself immersed in waves of hiss and muted synths. Though Quantec dominates this CD, the other artists, especially Atheus are not to be taken lightly. These tracks, however, are a slight departure from other releases by Quantec & Atheus as these tracks have a slightly more ambient and mellow tone. I am looking forward to Volume 2, assuming there will be one.
