Argubly the best Electro.

This compilation repesents one of the greatest moments in Dance Music History! Not just any of the sub genres of dance music, but the whole blessed thing.
Everything from the delayed release time, to the monumental Roxanne clash, to the freakishly weird introduction to the Human Beatbox.

Lastly, to not even mention the extraodinary and revolutionary mixing skills of London's DJ Maurice and DJ Noel would be a crime against humanity.

Think thats it? Who ever heard of the glorious GLI PMX 9000 Mixer before this?
Well, the sleeve notes tell their own story.
Find it, worship it.

This compilation contains great tracks but most of them are cuted and pitched, and the sound is not quite good due to the fact that they are mixed from the 12 inches. I'd prefered a non-mixed compilation but that's the only way to have those great tracks on a same LP.

Much dissing back and forth on the A side, courtesy of UTFO and the two Roxannes. Then comes the highlight, Whodini's Freaks Come Out At Night. The guy raps with strength and arrogance, a little like Kool Moe Dee. Side B is all good, Egyptian Lover's laid-back style giving way to the uptempo Beat Freak. 2 Doug E Fresh tracks round off a great LP.
