But both discs seem to lose their way after about half way through, as if the producer thought they needed to get more underground tracks in, and there are (as with other Annuals) some totally unknown and extremely dull tracks to finish with.
The extra DVD is a bit of a gimmick, and not worth watching apart from hearing the wicked DT8 track "Winter".
CD1 has a few decent tunes on it (Tom Novy's "Your Body", Mylo's "Doctor Pressure", and a brilliant Axwell remix of Hard Fi "Hard to Beat") but then it turns into some weird tech-house that just won't appeal to anyone.
CD2 is commercial pop-trance with very little substance, and gets annoying quickly. It's far from the likes of Gatecrasher, so don't expect too much! On that note, at what club does anyone actually play these pop-trance tunes?? It's as if they've created the genre of pop-trance purely for radio, and to go on CD2 of the MOS Annual!!
Overall, a fairly average annual. I'm sure they'll sell sh*tloads though!
