None of the tracks on this CD are actually taken from the 'original tapes', all are from 45's as a careful listen will reveal many clicks and much worn vinyl. Non the less this is still an excellent compilation of Northern Soul music with every track coming from the period of 1965-1968. In my opinion there isn't a bad track on here and they are all now much sought after on original 45's with some commanding four figure price tags.
