This is the bible of mostly Chicago house music. circa 1985 - 1988 with the scope of the collection leaning most heavily towards 88 as that was the year it was released. Oodles of these songs have appeared splattered around on other house/old skool/roots collections over the years. This collection tho is probably one of the first to do so with such an exhaustive (for the time) reach. Oddball classics like Sensuous Woman goes Disco, I'm Scared, Bounce Your body to the Box, and Carino, among numerous numerous others will keep you peaking and smiling for years.
This collection leaves off with the early contributions of Chicago Acid house pre Acieeed, and pre-Psychic TVs interesting and long reaching appropriation of Acid House.
