Reviews & Discussion

Review by Axiomata Sep 22, 2007
On this tape it is business as usual, and you have a lot of the usual suspects (Bourbonese Qualk, Attrition, Test Dept, etc.). However, there a few things to take note of. First off, the Gorilla Aktiv tracks are great. Sounds like a lo-fi version of early DAF (Think the Kebabtraume single on Mute). Secondly, there are some very early Muslimgauze tracks on here. Plus, The SPK live tracks are very good quality.

As a bonus, the booklet contains an interview with SPK where Graeme talks about banging on metal being done to death, and he speaks fondly of the new direction that he is going to take SPK in. heh.

All in all, not essential, but if you find it cheap pick it up.
