Reviews & Discussion

Rated 5/5
Review by djthumpa Jul 11, 2008
I can't believe no one has commented on this LP yet! I got it in the Summer of 98 after hearing nearly every track on the LP played at Helter Skelter in June that year (Human Nature if anyone cares, Producer, Clarkee and Scorpio cained this LP).

Although not all tracks are classics, the majority of them still sound absolutely fantastic 10 years on. The remix of 'Running Man' is still my favourite, a 5 minute intro with a brilliant sample of a preacher saying how he sought redemption, followed by intricate percussion and, ultimately, a cavernous kickdrum that goes right through your body evertime.

Then there's the brilliant 'DJ Producer Takes Deathchant To The Butchers', a perfect homage to Deathchant's back catalogue as well as classic hip hop samples galore. Awesome shit!

I would be here all day if I described all the tracks as buzz my tits off when listening to most of them but rest assured the rest of the LP delivers big time. This LP will go down in history as a nice big pizza slice of UK hardcore techno, a landmark where the UK stood up and said 'yeah we make good music too!'. Like Spinal Tap all the way, this shit gets 11 out of 10.
