Good album, perhaps not quite the all out classic, greatest dnb album ever made as some reviews would suggest! While it does in fact touch upon, dare I say it, the more intelligent aspect of DnB, it falls short with some painfully obvious choices, saying this took 6 years to put together just proves my point, Music by Bukem, Photeks great remix of Brown Paper Bag, they're all such obvious numbers, safe bets in a sea of records that would take an age to dig through to find the real gems. Kudos to picking up Omni Trio's great track 'secret life' though. I feel this album was brought out at a time that dnb was at a bit of a cross roads, suffering from a massive influx of confusing and frankly pointless little sub genres that only served to seperate a once very together community, the problem with this album is it's all a bit too 2-step in it's entirety. If you want real, beautiful, seminal and ground breaking breaks and beats, just buy the entire Good Looking 'points in time' albums, some are mixed, some aren't, but they certainly show this album for what it is, nothing special. Oh and while you're at it, get yourself every release from the 'producer' series on GLO as well.

This will basically go down in my head as one of the best drum&bass mixes ever, and by far I would say the best chill drum&bass mix ever. Each track is delicately chosen and placed right where DB seems to want it, with the tracks blending together in a story of bliss. Perfect programming only furthers the depths of this mix, making it completely obvious that he more than likely did work on this for 6 years or so, like the liner notes profess.

Being one of the first drum&bass mixes I'd ever heard at that time this completely blew me away in 2001, and has continued to blow me away, make me dance, and shed tears of joy to be alive to this day, after I can not even imagine how many hundreds of listens. And it will for many, many years to come.

This album, BY FAR, is DB's finest selection work. EVER. Nothing extravagant on the mixing end, but DB's never really been known for the long double-drop nonsense. There is really nothing bad that can be said about this album. Purchased this 7 years ago, and is still in regular rotation in my CD player. "Small Adventures" by Nautilus is easily one of the best drum and bass compositions in the music's history. So many classics on here: Klute's "Chicks" - the Adam F remix of Everything But the Girl's "Before Today" - the ever-seductive sounds of Jonny L's "This Time" - seriously, if you like drum and bass, even in the slightest, this album is a must-buy. Absolute recommended listening A-plus-plus-plus-plus-plus-plus-plus!!!

Very laid-back listening, as stated before. Urban Visions - 'Pearls' is absolute genius. Probably one of the most beautiful pieces of music I have ever come across. The programming for 'The Secret Sound of Science' is one of the best selections around. Also, Klute's 'Chicks' is a great selection also. A wonderful album for laid back, late night listening, but not a dancefloor filler. Well played DB, well played.

Late-night listening. Good to pop in if you're trying to get laid. Highly enjoyable light drum n bass, but I just think it lacks any sort of edge. In my mind, dnb is all about focusing a particular energy. And I think db did that successfully, but he ended up with a mix that was so light and soft, that it's hard for me to even call it dnb. It's more along the lines of just chill. Nevertheless, If you're into light dnb, this may be the best album you'll ever come across. Don't misunderstand, I love a good soft track, just not 18 out of 20 on the mix
