Everybody who knows techno/house history is loving those labels and artists on this compilation. It's a very high quality collection of different looks on techno - beside phantasmagorical nearly non-beat killertracks you can find mad (93 it was called: hard-tekkno) hardcore mayhems. Disintegrator's "Lock On Target" destroying noises with a hard and dry beat-line or Richie Hawtin's big timeless trance, Moby's hardest track on earth "Thousand" or the storm-raving Adam X's track "Go Brooklyn"(as X-Crash) - every second of your listening-pleasure is painted by the colours of quality.
Only very few compilations in this time of the early 90s could present such a high selected number of different labels - so you couldn't find one label a second time on this double-cd. It is compiled by Holger Wick and Andy Düx, two well-known musicians loving tb303 and rave sounds - the Labworks-label was home for artists like Thomas P. Heckmann, Christopher Just(Ilsa Gold), Spiral Tribe(!), Cellblock X ...

This is something i buy once in a while, and wow, this rare comp. surprised me. You wanna dance ? If you hear these tunes, you r on the dancefloor before you r aware of it. CD2 s a bit harder, but i enjoy them both and they have a good drive and keep you on speed. Recommended when you r doing a boring task ;).
