Reviews & Discussion

Rated 1/5
Review by Christopher_Jion Oct 25, 2006 (edited over 3 years ago)
Not to be cruel, but...
It's a good thing I bought this used.
I was so bored with this CD it was depressing.

Aside from the Alec Empire remix, eveything on here was extremely forgettable. And even with Alec's remix, you could tell he wasn't putting very much effort into it at all.
I mean, all this crossover crap bores me to tears.
Plus this basic idea of hard electronic remixes of punk/hardcore rock was done much much more interestingly with "Digital Catastroph 1997", in which Digital Hardcore Recordings artists (Germany) remixed ZK Records artists (Japan).

95% of the beats, sounds, and effects on here are so un-creative I just wanted to break the CD in half. Same old crap we've been hearing for the last handful of years. Nothing stood out at all.

And I'm REALLY tired of hardcore. With that stupid, boring Cookie Monster vocal style. They all sound the same and the lyrics are never even well written. It's more boring than watching paint dry. I was laughing at one point because it just sounded so stupid. Do these people not have ears?!

Also, the artwork is really lame. Nothing interesting at all. It might as well have been a Linkin Park CD cover.
Same boring filters and "messy" fonts.

There's over 10 remixers on here, but it sounds more like 3.
THAT is just how boring and visionless music is nowadays.
