Reviews & Discussion

Rated 4/5
Review by systemfehler Jul 03, 2004 (edited over 5 years ago)
After hearing Marusha's "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" remixed by RMB and DJ Hooligan over and over again and looking for harder stuff, this happened to be the first Thunderdome I bought. Being sweet and innocent 12 years old, I loved it. For me, this is still one of the best Thunderdomes ever, placed exactly between the older stlye and the time where the sound began to change. I really like the first four Thunderdomes and there are also some really good ones that came afer volume 5 and maybe it's just my special connection to this time (besides thd 5 being the first hardcore record I ever bought), but this one is placed on top of my list of Thunderdome compilations. There may be some cheesy tunes, but it also features a lot of tracks that still sound great and not dated.
