This is another great volume in the never-ending line of Trancemasters. I favour almost every single track on here. Although it is a little strage that these tracks are 'semi-mixed' even though Trancemaster compilations are supposed to be unmixed. So that annoys me a little. But nevertheless, this is well worth getting.

Most of the tracks on here follow a futuristic style, but this futuristic style seems different from the one presented on Trancemaster 4001. There are some harder tracks thrown in as well such as the JVD track which I noticed borrows the chorus from the Airbase remix of Unknown Source's "Nadjanema".

There is a down-side to this compilation, though. Other than the fact that most of the tracks are 'semi-mixed', some of the best tracks on here are the shorter ones. Magellan Project's "Dive Theme" is probably my favourite track on the whole compilation. But alas, it is only three minutes long! There also could have been a few adjustments to what versions of certain tracks were put on here to make the compilation slightly more likeable. I would've loved to see the Danjo & Styles remix of Tiesto's "Adagio For Strings" and the Magellan Project remix of Cyber X's "Waves Of Love" to name a few. But other than that, this is a great album which I think anyone desperate enough for will love.
