If you like cheesy hair metal, Synthesiser-ey Intstrumentals and even "Weird Al" Yankovic , you are in the right place!
The Transformers Movie (the animated one, not that newfangled live action one!) was released in 1986, and is best remembered for the controversal decicion to kill off the main hero Autobot Leader Optimus Prime, and other characters, and it's superb voice cast including Orson Welles, Eric Idle, Robert Stack, Lennord Nemoy etc.
Enough of the movie and on with the soundtrack! While the Hair-Metal tunes like "The Touch" are very catchy, they are quite dated and cheesy, and will probably not so much appeal to a contempory audience, however, the instrumental tracks by Vince DiCola are excellent, and fits the film really well. The track at the end by Weird Al is priceless.
Transform and Roll Out!
