If you're lucky enough to have ever been to Cafe Mambo on Sunset Strip in San Antonio, Ibiza and have enjoyed the sounds then this is the CD for you. There are not many other chillout CDs out there that feature music like this one. It is compiled and mixed by Mambo resident DJ Pete Gooding and along with many other "free" CDs it is better than the official Cafe Mambo and Cafe Del Mar CDs in my opinion as it is a true reflection of the sound that is played at Mambos.

The only drawback is that the recording for some reason has been mastered in mono. I didn't notice this at first when I played it through my 2.1 setup, but as soon as I listened it through headphones it was clear that someone has made a mistake with the recording. It's not as noticable through speakers so I suggest you don't use headphone. This aside I recommend this CD to anyone who enjoys the "true" Mambo's sound, and you can pick a copy up cheap on here or on eBay. You won't be disappointed.
