The greatest beat architects and noise deities in the galaxy come together on one compilation! Entity seems to only improve by the years, which is rare for a netlabel, and the rich diversity on this compilation is indicative of Entity's infinite scope. Vortex is laced throughout with deep orchestral drones, cybervetic soundstreams, intricate nuts and bolts, etheric mist, molten chrome, alien glitches, UIDM (Ultra-Intelligent Dance Music ;), abstract DMT-damaged drills, and some of the most astronimically technical brainfuck sound celebrations ever conceived. Vortex will never be "officially" recognized as such, but it is no doubt one of the most important releases in the history of electronic music.
