Sasha really knows how to do it...

This Wipeout soundtrack has been excellently compiled. A mixture of House and Techno goes reallly well together on this and the best part is, it's on the actual PlayStation disc!

My personal favourites of this release are all of Sasha's tracks (especially "Xpander"), both MKL tracks, Propellerheads' "Lethal Cut" and Underworld's "Kittens".

The soundtrack goes really well with the general atmosphere of the game. This disc brings out the best of the Wipeout music so far. Some people think this is the worst of the first three games, but I definately think the opposite. The fusion of awesome music and magnificent gameplay make this one of the best Futuristic experiences ever.
Sure, Extreme-G has it's own way of portraying this, but I definately think this is my favourite ever game soundtrack.

If I could get extended versions of each track on here I would. Now that's saying something, isn't it?!?

DJ Sasha was signed as the official Musical director for this project as well as composer of most of the music soundtrack. The weird name of the tracks like Auricom, Goteki, etc... is due to the fact that each one of the racing teams in the game has it's own theme song.

Originally, this compilation was intended to be released as an independent soundtrack, just like the Wipeout music soundtrack released by Astralwerks. However, for unknown reasons(at least for me), maybe marketing and commercial projection, this album finally saw the light as a bonus disc for a limited release of the Wip3out(or Wipeout 3) videogame.
